Can’t wait to hear about this trip upon your return! That black, spiky landscape along with the Baobab trees definitely caught my eye, as well as the techno color chameleon! The via ferratas are scary as sh** but so much fun!

That spiky, serrated landscape is Tsingy is where the via ferrata is! I'll see if I can find you a techno chameleon postcard, Stephanie! How many did you send from the Dolomites??

I only sent 3, I was kind of busy (& exhausted 😉): Iceland, Canada, & Taiwan. I mailed them on Sept 15th from Cortina. No one has received them yet, I’m assuming the Iceland one should arrive first. Hopefully yours will be there when you & Kim return. Safe travels!!

Three! I'd say traversing the Alps is a fair excuse. I'm sure you're already into curating your next coffee table book.

Don't you think it's great that you can actually take the Transpost bus in Madagascar and travel with the mail to the next post office?? That's one way to guarantee delivery! Shall we place bets on the arrival date? I think all our postcards went up Ben Nevis by mule first from Scotland!

Madagascar is macro and micro all in one, too. So many dwarf species (mouse lemurs, dwarf chameleons, pygmy kingfishers) and then the extreme baobabs. I think we'll have some interesting tasting notes, Karla. From elegant French pastries and foie gras to fried caterpillars and a numbing soup that I've highlighted the name of (in a few places) to prevent the paralytic experience (already had that in China!).
